The Skin Ritual is the heart of Girl Native: N° 01 to N° 03, each drawn from a plant of Aotearoa. Harakeke, the plant of whānau, to cleanse. Mamaku, the black tree fern that rises above the bush, to refine. Mānuka honey, from the first tree to return to cleared land, to nourish.
Follow them in order, morning and night. There is nothing to master. Only a moment, before the day begins or after it ends, to come back to yourself. That is tiaki: to care for, to protect, to nurture.

The ritual

Cleanse. Massage the cleanser onto damp skin, then rinse.

Tone. In the evening, mist the toner over clean skin.

Nourish. Press the cream into face and neck, morning and night.
