The first step of the ritual.
A light, fragrance-free gel with harakeke leaf extract. It lifts away the day, sunscreen and makeup with a soft lather, and leaves skin fresh, clean and comfortable, never stripped.
The ritual
Morning and evening, massage one or two pumps onto damp skin in small circles. Rinse well with warm water and pat dry. Follow with Mamaku Glycolic Toner and Mānuka Honey Moisturising Cream.
Key ingredients
-
Harakeke (NZ flax) leaf extract, for softness and slip
-
Mild plant-derived cleansers from coconut, for a gentle lather
-
Glycerin, sodium PCA and glyceryl oleate to help skin hold moisture and feel soft after cleansing
Why harakeke works here
Cleansing is where skin can feel stripped. Here harakeke sits in a light gel that cleanses gently and leaves skin comfortable. Our harakeke is harvested in Kāwhia, Waikato, by Mana Wāhine who carry a lineage of mātauranga Māori in how to approach and harvest the plant with care. As the plant of whānau, harakeke belongs in the step everyone in the house can share.
Suited to
Every day, for all skin types. Particularly suited to combination, oily and sensitive skin, and to anyone who prefers a lighter, fresher cleanse. For very dry skin, follow with the Kawakawa Face Oil in the evening.
